The Desaru Fruit Farm is an orchard and a place for fruit lovers. Established in 2001, the farm's activities include tours, Fruit Fiesta, indoor animal petting, ATV Riding, Jeep riding, UTV riding, and paintball. The farm has 120 varieties of fruits, including Durian, Rambutan, Mangosteen, Dragon Fruit, Pineapple, etc. 

It won the “Best Agro Tourism Site” in 2006 and the Innovative Tourism Attraction - Agro Tourism Conservation by the Malaysia Tourism Awards 2010.

What to Expect in a 1-Day Tour at Desaru Coast Fruit Farm

Following is the itinerary of the 1-day Desaru fruit farm tour: 

• Pick up from the designated area at 09:00 am 

• Show the Mobile ticket at the ticketing counter or to the tour guide upon arrival at the destination. Or present the booking confirmation email to the guide.

• The journey begins with a guided farm tour of 160 acres covered with over 120 species of tropical fruits. 

• The guided tour is in English. 

• The 1-day tour also includes visits to the Crocodile Farm and the Ostrich Farm.

• You will be dropped off at around 3:00 pm at the designated area.

Guided Farm Tours 

It is an informative tour for visitors that explains the various stages of fruit cultivation and sustainable practices. One can learn about the different fruit trees, how to identify ripe fruits, and their nutritional benefits. 

Fruit Tasting Sessions

This is one of the highlights of the Desaru Fruit Farm. Visitors can taste freshly picked fruits, discover their unique flavour and texture. 

Farm-To-Table Dining 

This is an on-site restaurant that serves a variety of dishes from the farm’s fresh produce. Here, you can savour authentic Malaysian cuisine, including fruit-based dishes and refreshing juices.  

Other Activities 

Apart from taking the entire tour from the Desaru Fruit Farm package, you can also take the ATV ride or enjoy the 7-course fruit-infused dishes and soups.

The ATV ride session is 20 minutes long. It starts with a short training session. Helmets and safety gear will be provided. The ATV is a double seater, perfect for parents and children. Desaru Fruit Farm Paintball

The Paintball War at Desaru Farm is an activity where a team of at least six members competes against each other. Certified marshals conduct safety briefings. Face mask, chest vest and rental markers are available.
