Exit Suria KLCC via the park door on the ground level next to Dome Cafe and head towards the right. Keep walking for about 5 minutes. The Aquaria KLCC is located under the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre building.

🚅 LRT (Light Rapid Transit)

Offboard at the KLCC LRT station from the Kelana Jaya Line. Walk through the KLCC underground pedestrian tunnel and locate Sephora, Guardian Pharmacy or Maybank. You will find the underpass tunnel. Keep walking for about 7 minutes through the tunnel, and you will see the Aquaria KLCC main entrance.

🚆 MRT

Exit from Bukit Bintang Station (SBK 18A) and walk towards the Pavilion Shopping Mall. Process to the pedestrian walkway to take the 10-minute walk to Aquaria KLCC.

🚏 KL Hop-On Hop-Off Bus

This double-decker bus with an open-roof deck for city sightseeing covers 27 attractions on its route. You can drop off at Stop 10 and go directly to Aquaria KLCC.

Kids' activity

The child-friendly aquarium has interactive touch pools, colourful displays, and educational programs. 

Nursing room

The restrooms have baby-changing facilities. The KLCC complex also has additional family facilities, including nursing rooms.

Stroller accessible

Stroller access is available, and most exhibits are at child-friendly viewing heights. Wide pathways and elevator access make it very stroller-friendly. However, some areas may be crowded during peak times. Stroller parking areas are available at specific exhibits.

Wheelchair accessible

Aquaria KLCC is fully wheelchair-accessible, with ramps, elevators, and wide pathways. Wheelchair rental may be available - inquire at the entrance. Accessible restrooms, priority queuing, and staff assistance are available. The underwater tunnel and most exhibits are wheelchair accessible. Disabled parking spaces are available on a priority basis.

Service animals

Legitimate service animals are typically allowed with proper documentation and advance notice. Contact management before your visit to arrange and confirm requirements.

Benches and seating areas are strategically placed throughout the aquarium. The underwater tunnel features moving walkways to reduce fatigue from walking.

Peak Visiting Time

Malaysian school holidays (March, June, September, and December) are busiest. The monsoon season (November-February) makes it a perfect indoor activity. The Chinese New Year period sees an increase in local visitors.

Temperature inside

The aquarium is air-conditioned and maintained at approximately 22-24°C (72-75°F) for visitor comfort and the needs of marine life.

Dress Code

There is no specific dress code, but comfortable walking shoes are recommended. The air conditioning can be cool, so bring a light jacket. Avoid loose accessories that might fall into touch pools.

Tour Language

Exhibits feature information in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Audio guides in multiple languages (including Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean) are available for rent.

Feeding time

Sharks, piranhas, stingrays, and other species have scheduled feeding sessions throughout the day. Times vary, but typically include sessions at 11:30 AM, 2:30 PM, and 4:30 PM. Check daily schedules upon arrival.

Photography

Photography is permitted for personal use. Avoid flash near marine life, use burst mode for moving fish, take advantage of the tunnel's lighting, arrive early for less crowded shots, and be patient for the perfect moment during feeding times. Professional photography or videography requires prior permission and may incur additional fees.

No re-entry

Standard tickets do not permit same-day re-entry. However, annual passes and exceptional circumstances may allow re-entry check with staff upon exit.

Outside Food Prohibited

Outside food and beverages are prohibited inside the aquarium. However, dining options exist within the KLCC complex and nearby areas before or after your visit.
