Located at the peak of Penang Hill (also known as Bukit Bendera), The Habitat Penang Hill is an award-winning rainforest discovery park, which is also the key gateway to the UNESCO Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve. Among its most iconic attractions are the Langur Way Canopy Walk, the longest two-span stressed ribbon bridge in a rainforest, and the Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk, the highest viewing platform on Penang Island. Nature lovers can explore the rainforest during the day from 9 AM to 7 PM, or opt for an add-on night walk ticket from 7 PM to 9 PM to spot nocturnal wildlife in their natural habitat. The Langur Way Canopy Walk at The Habitat Penang Hill is the world’s longest two-span stressed ribbon bridge and the only one of its kind in a rainforest. Suspended 40 metres above the forest floor, the bridge was built entirely without heavy machinery, blending seamlessly into its natural surroundings.
It is capable of supporting up to 9,000 kg, the equivalent of 18 adult Asian elephants, making it both sturdy and safe despite its length. Along the way, visitors can spot Dusky Langurs and other fascinating tree-dwelling wildlife while taking in the panoramic views of the green rainforest.
Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk at The Habitat Penang Hill is the highest accessible viewing platform on Penang Island, perched at 800 metres above sea level. From here, visitors can enjoy 360-degree views of Penang’s lush rainforest and the cityscape beyond, and learn about its history from the information boards placed at every corner of the platform.
Sunset Walk at The Habitat Penang Hill offers a magical experience as the setting sun illuminates the rainforest biosphere reserve on Penang Island and the mainland. It is one of the best ways to enjoy the island's scenic beauty from above.
The Flight of the Colugo Zip is an adventure experience at The Habitat Penang Hill that lets visitors explore the rainforest from a thrilling zipline course. The complete course includes three zip lines, one abseil, and a rope bridge, inspired by the movements of the Sunda Colugo (Malayan Flying Lemur), allowing participants to glide from tree to tree just like the rainforest’s natural gliders.
Currently, the full Flight of the Colugo Zip course is under maintenance. However, visitors can still enjoy The Glide of the Draco Zipline, which is part of the full Colugo Zip adventure. This experience offers a thrilling yet accessible way to zip through the rainforest canopy.

The Stable Café at The Habitat Penang Hill carries a significant slice of Penang Hill’s colonial-era history. Back in the 1800s, this spot served as a resting stable for the ponies that took visitors up the hill before the funicular train existed.
Today, the pony stable has been thoughtfully repurposed into ‘The Stable’ Café, blending heritage with sustainability. This café uses locally sourced and low-impact ingredients that support a greener planet and a richer local culture.
