Natureland

The Natureland at Entopia is a shared recreated habitat for a variety of animals, including butterflies, koi fish, snapping turtles, frogs, and iguanas. It is one of Malaysia’s most extensive butterfly gardens, home to approximately 15,000 free-flying butterflies across 200 species. With waterfalls, caves, and green landscapes, it not only provides a natural environment for wildlife but also keeps the surroundings serene for visitors.

All animals in Entopia are well cared for by the dedicated staff. More than 200 plant species thrive alongside these creatures and shelter them, creating a safe space while also providing a spot for visitors to stroll, take photos, and connect with nature. Natureland also allows visitors to interact with animals, including gently touching butterflies and feeding koi fish at the David’s Garden waterfall. The fish pellets are available at the Tapestree Café for RM3.

The Cocoon

The Cocoon is Entopia’s indoor discovery centre, offering a hands-on and interactive experience that complements the Natureland. Extended across two floors, The Cocoon is designed to immerse visitors in the fascinating world of invertebrates and other small creatures through engaging exhibits and activities. The exhibits include Pandora Forest, Metamorphosis, Lumino City, Downtown Entopia, Breeding Ground, Underground Mysteries, and Understory Tales.

The activities include temporary tattoo stamping, silk-making, and other hands-on learning experiences, which are both educational and entertaining. There are also open touch zones where visitors can touch the gentle insects at the exhibition, including giant millipedes and mealworms, or even bigger and intimidating ones in the Sticky Stop enclosure.

The Cocoon also highlights species preservation and conservation, specifically of the butterflies. The preservation galleries and breeding exhibits aim to deepen understanding of the importance of protecting the vulnerable species while providing an engaging indoor adventure.
